Hallmark Saddlery & Harness is located in the rolling foothills of southern Alberta. Doug Hall started Hallmark Saddlery & Harness in 1979 with a tandy leather franchise, trophy business, and shoe repairs.

In 1982, Doug began his apprenticeship of saddle building under the direction of Don Baird until Don's passing in 1996. In 1988 Doug started building harnesses. In 1992 he sent 5 sets of show harnesses to Euro Disney in Paris, France for their Wild West Show. Some of his other products have gone to Australia, Kazakhstan, Peru, Germany, United States and Canada. Doug has built saddles for Lammles Western Wear out of Calgary. He has also built harnesses for the Miniature Chuck Wagon Association and does harness and repairs for the Remington Carriage Museum in Cardston, Alberta.
